Bubbles billow
bubbles bounce
Bubbles shimmer
bubbles shine
Bubbles drift
til….
Pffft…
Goodbye!

This is such fun to read aloud! I love the combo of drift and Pfft! Hope you find time over break to blow some bubbles.

My 22 month old grandchildren are crazy about bubbles! And as you have captured here, they, like these early years, are all to soon gone.

One comment for all the poems you’ve written so far: I love that you are joining in as inspiration strikes! I have given myself permission to break some of my rules by sharing the poems the first and second graders and I wrote collaboratively when I visited their classrooms. It takes some of the pressure off and keeps the fun in the month!

Oh, how fun! I can imagine you playing with the bubbles to write this poem.

Love this, Catherine. One of my granddaughter’s favorite things to do is play with bubbles. In fact, we sometimes have to hide them 🙂 I think she will also enjoy your poem paired with her bubbles the next time we play with them.
