Slice of Life: Have Some Pi!

Today, 3-14-15, is a once-in-a-century Pi day! To celebrate, I’m serving up a “slice” of pie! In case you’re math is a little rusty, you can brush up visiting Wonderopolis, or by watching this TED ED video:

  1. My 5th-grade students celebrated Pi Day yesterday. We no longer can have real pie, however there were many stations where they could discover the magic. They even had a chance to read “Sir Cumference and the Dragon of Pi.” Happy Pi Day!

  2. I am on a diet, so I’ll have a slice of the virtual pi today. I say every year after the fact, “I should’ve celebrated Pi Day.” One of these days…
