Love this, Catherine, especially the “winter’s first whispers”. It’s a bit eerie and haunting. Like Linda, I’ll never look at milkweed quite the same way again!

I have many of these alien eared milkweed pods in my backyard. Maybe they’ll be able to help out the monarchs… I like your “winter’s first whispers,” thanks Catherine.
