And what revels there have been! Bravo to all of you who had daily poetry projects this month. I may not have visited or commented every day, but I truly admire your hard work and dedication. You are an inspiration!
Although National Poetry Month comes to an end today, true believers know no day is complete without poetry. We’ll always dream; we’ll always write…

into place like
tumblers inside a lock,
revealing truths hidden within
my heart.

Yes! This is beautiful, Catherine. Poetry is a year-round sport, of course! But it is fun to have the spotlight on it at least one month a year:>)

Reveling in words is much more fun with friends to share them with. Thanks for being a dedicated reader. We hold each other up. You captured the essence of writing with your metaphor of tumblers inside a lock. We open up a vein and bleed. But it feels safer with friends like you.

Lovely poem, Catherine.
As much as I love posting every day during April, it leaves little time to dive into what others are doing. On the upside, I get May to explore all kinds of poetry goodness in depth.
Thanks for following along this month. It has been fun.

That metaphor is spot on! Beautiful. I think I hear locks all clicking to quiet for a wee bit. How lucky we are to have each other. Happy May! xx
